The On & Up road show organised by CTE during September and October 2011 covered more than 3000km and achieved its aim of introducing the new B-Lift 510 HR to dealers and customers at the most important trade fairs in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland.<\/strong><\/p>\n

INTRODUCING THE B-LIFT 510 HIGH RANGE<\/strong>
\nStrong minimalist design combines with the latest generation technology to produce the B-Lift 510 HR. This aerial platform reaches a maximum working height of 50.5 m and is mounted on a three-axle 26-tonne vehicle which means it can be driven with a Class C driving license. The HR stands for High Range. This machine was the result of the largest engineering project launched a few years ago by the CTE Technical Dept. based in Bertinoro. Its aim was to create a range to satisfy the needs of three markets with different requirements – the European industrial market; the American market; and the fire-fighting market.<\/p>\n

The B-Lift 510 HR<\/strong> offers excellent performance with a maximum outreach of over 34m and basket capacity of 450kg when the stabilisers are fully deployed. The compact design means that the vehicle is around 10m long.<\/p>\n

The B-Lift 510 HR<\/strong> has a telescopic boom with four sections (boom and three extensions) which can extend simultaneously without any side swing. The extra-long main jib with double extension can swivel through 180\u00b0. The secondary jib can also swivel through 180\u00b0. Secondary jib movements are controlled by an automatic management system. The hydraulic and electrical power supplies are housed in a cable carrier inside the boom and jib for protection. All boom and jib movements can be activated simultaneously through proportional electro-hydraulic controls using ergonomic joysticks. The turret can slew through a full 570\u00b0 on its ball bearing turntable while the gear motor has a negative hydraulic brake. The hydraulic rotating basket can turn 90\u00b0 to the right or 90\u00b0 to the right. The vehicle\u2019s engine can be started and stopped from the basket or ground level.<\/p>\n
