2015, came into force the norm EN280:2013 that<br \/>\ndefines the state of the art of aerial platforms (MEWP) in order to meet the<br \/>\nsafety requirements of the Machinery Directive (Directive 2006\/42\/CE).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The aerial<br \/>\nplatforms manufacturers which meet this norm have had to adapt their products<br \/>\nto the requirements of the standard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Here is a<br \/>\nlist of some adjustments:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-family: symbol\"><span><span style='font: 7pt \"times new roman\"'><\/span><\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Anti-crunching<br \/>\nprotection for hands, not only for the first operator on the basket, but also<br \/>\nfor the second one<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-family: symbol\"><span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-family: symbol\"><span><span style='font: 7pt \"times new roman\"'><\/span><\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Min<br \/>\ndimensions for the basket access that could never have width less than 420 mm and<br \/>\nheight less the standard, but is very important to<br \/>\nknow that some novelties concern structural and design calculations themes,<br \/>\nthan the users can not detect. <\/span>Other safety novelties
