The IAPA AWARDS presented the highest award of “Product of the Year \u2013 Vehicle\/trailer-mounted” to CTE for its green telescopic platform<\/strong><\/p>\n

When innovation meets the respect for the environment. This is the winning feature of the CTE B-LIFT 17E<\/strong>, a telescopic truck mounted platform that received the prestigious IAPA AWARD<\/strong> – Product of the Year \u2013 Vehicle\/trailer-mounted<\/strong> for 2017.
\nCompeting with CTE<\/strong> for this prestigious award, were Palfinger with their P750 model and Ruthmann with the T510 HF model.
\nThe judges, all personalities in the Access world, appreciated the highly innovative electric battery powered system, which allows great work autonomy and with the compactness of the platform, guarantees its use in confined spaces.
\nThe event took place on the 4th April 2017, at the Hilton Hotel, Wembley with the backdrop to this wonderful evening, being the Wembley Stadium in London. The Commercial Director for CTE<\/strong>, Marco Govoni,<\/strong> commented: \u201cI would like to thank all our Staff for introducing innovation into the market driven by the \u201cgreen\u201d spirit and also since we are aware that this will be one of the goals of the Access industry for the future. We are very proud of this achievement that leads us as protagonists directly into a market segment currently new for us\u201d.
\nThe IAPA Awards 2017<\/strong> joins the SAIE INNOVATION towards zero impact prize<\/strong> received at Bologna last October. CTE B-LIFT 17 E<\/strong> was rewarded for its low environmental impact features and energy efficiency, in line with the current needs of the building industry.<\/p>\n

FOCUSING ON THE PRODUCT:<\/strong>
\nThe battery-powered aerial platform is the ideal solution for working inside, and where pollution from engines or noise is not allowed.
\nCTE B-LIFT 17E<\/strong> is an extremely versatile model: offering 16.6m of working height, 11.3m of outreach, 250kg maximum basket capacity. The 500Ah batteries guarantees 1.5 hours of continuous work and once exhausted, it recharges with PTO, whilst being driven on the road or when the engine is running, or by plugging into the mains power for a maximum of 8 hours.
\nThe \u201cE\u201d of the product name is for the \u2018eco\u2019 friendly version of the platform.
\nThe platform is made of 2mm SSAB Strenx steel.
\nThis model presents the revolution applied to the electrical and hydraulic systems with the introduction of a CANBUS operating system and new hydraulic management system. The user-friendly interfaces of the CTE B-LIFT<\/strong> truck-mounted range are the same implemented on the articulated range CTE ZED<\/strong>, with fully proportional electro-hydraulic controls, engine variable speed depending on the operational manoeuvres of the boom assembly, offering smooth operation, with acceleration and deceleration ramps, and electric PTO. An innovative remote console is housed in a specific box on the platform deck. To assist in the management of servicing, maintenance and fault finding in the event of a breakdown, the platform is fitted it with a diagnostic tool to aid the customer, this will become common with other CTE platforms (ZED, TRACCESS & B-LIFT<\/strong>).
\nCTE<\/strong>\u2019s aim is to unify hydraulic, electrical and electronic components of truck-mounted platforms, ZED and B-LIFT range to facilitate understanding, use and maintenance, and to offer a unique brand experience to their customers.<\/p>\n
